Project Overview

Sentinel is a comprehensive full-stack satellite tracking and visualization platform that provides real-time orbital data for thousands of satellites. Built with a Python FastAPI backend and PostgreSQL database, the system efficiently processes and serves satellite telemetry data through a modern Next.js frontend. The application features interactive 3D Earth visualization, real-time satellite position tracking, and detailed orbital parameter displays. Users can click on satellite poitn objects to retireve satellite details such as name, NORAD id, object type, payload type, and position.
